Actify Fitness LLP ("we," "us," or "our") operates the actify.fit mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Display name
  • Authentication provider used (email/password, Google, Apple, or Facebook)

If you sign in via Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from the respective provider. We do not receive or store your social account passwords.

1.2 Profile & Onboarding Data

To generate personalized plans, we collect:

  • Age and gender
  • Height, weight, and body fat percentage
  • Fitness goals (e.g., fat loss, muscle gain, endurance)
  • Activity level
  • Workout preferences (e.g., gym, home, yoga, calisthenics)
  • Workout frequency preferences
  • Dietary preferences and food allergies

1.3 Health & Fitness Data

Through your use of the app, we collect:

  • Workout logs (exercises, duration, calories burned)
  • Nutrition logs (meals, calories, macronutrients)
  • Water intake records
  • Body weight history
  • Daily health scores, streaks, and XP

1.4 Data from Apple Health

With your explicit consent, we may read data from Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS, including step counts, workout sessions, body metrics, and sleep data. We only access the specific data categories you authorize. This data is used solely to enhance your experience within the app and is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

1.5 Device & Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Device type, operating system, and version
  • App version
  • Anonymous usage analytics (screens viewed, feature usage)
  • Crash reports

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
  • Generate personalized AI workout and diet plans
  • Calculate daily health scores, track streaks, and award XP
  • Display progress analytics and insights
  • Prefill profile data from Apple Health (with your consent)
  • Send transactional notifications (e.g., streak reminders) if you opt in
  • Improve and optimize the Service
  • Provide customer support

3. How We Store & Protect Your Data

  • Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We do not store your passwords. Social sign-in tokens are managed by the respective providers (Google, Apple, Facebook).
  • Data storage uses industry-standard encrypted databases. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Access controls ensure only authenticated users can access their own data. Server-side API routes verify identity via secure tokens.

While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal or health data. We may share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: Trusted third parties that help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • Legal obligations: If required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., court order, subpoena).
  • Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of actify.fit, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Your Rights & Choices

5.1 Access & Portability

You can view your personal data within the app at any time (Profile > Settings). You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.

5.2 Correction

You can update your profile information, body metrics, goals, and preferences directly in the app.

5.3 Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. See our Data Deletion page for details. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5.4 Withdraw Consent

You can revoke access to Apple Health data at any time through your device's Health app settings. You can opt out of notifications in the app.

5.5 Residents of the EEA, UK & California

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively, including the right to object to processing, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. 6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@actify.fit.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple Health, Firebase Authentication). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
